Scheduling Coordinator
Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, In person
Job description: We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Scheduling Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our patients. You’ll check patients in, manage a full schedule of appointments, verify insurance at designated visits, and follow up quickly on missed appointments. You’ll work to efficiently manage the schedule on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and check in patients
Verify insurance benefits for new and existing patients
Call/text patients after missed appointments
Obtain and file referrals, patient documents, photos, and x-rays
Assist in daily office administration duties
Post walk-in payments
Support patient experience items (signs, drawings/prizes) and basic front-desk upkeep
Assist travel-day prep and on-site scheduling for North & Aurora offices; occasional errands as needed
Orthodontic Assistant
Pay: $14.00 - $20.54 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, In person
Job description: As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will work closely with Dr. Hohl to provide high-quality care and assist in a variety of procedures to help create beautiful smiles. This role requires excellent clinical and communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to provide a positive experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the orthodontist during patient procedures, including adjustments, fittings, and installations of appliances (Invisalign, braces, retainers, etc.)
Take diagnostic X-rays, photos, and impressions
Prepare and maintain instruments, equipment, and treatment areas for orthodontic procedures
Educate patients and parents on orthodontic care, appliance maintenance, and hygiene instructions
Sterilize and disinfect instruments according to OSHA and CDC guidelines
Schedule follow-up appointments and maintain patient records
Collaborate with the orthodontist and administrative team to ensure a smooth workflow and excellent patient care
Qualifications:
Orthodontic or Dental Assistant certification (preferred)
X-ray certification
Previous experience in orthodontics or dental assisting is highly preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a patient-first mentality
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
