Financial Investment Information
Determining Your Cost of Treatment
Appointment #1:
Initial diagnostic records are included in your New Patient Exam at no cost to you. Dr. Hohl uses this information to create your overall treatment plan and provide an estimate of the total cost of treatment.
Appointment #2:
Once you choose to begin treatment, our team will acquire more detailed diagnostic records to calculate the exact total cost of treatment. You’ll then meet with Makinna, our Financial Coordinator, to coordinate a payment plan that works for you.
Navigating Insurance
In-Network Orthodontic Coverage:
Currently, are in network with Ameritas, Principal, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Delta Dental. This means that claims submitted to these providers are billed directly to insurance, and all insurance payments are sent to our office.
Out-of-Network:
Even if we are not in-network with your provider, we are happy to submit claims on your behalf. When we submit a claim to an out-of-network provider, you are billed directly. Your insurance provider can then reimburse you according to your benefits.

The treatment fee provided covers all appointments throughout treatment, as well as the orthodontic supplies associated with your chosen appliance. As you progress through treatment, we will update your diagnostic records as needed, which is covered by your records fee.
Once your orthodontic treatment is complete, cosmetic tooth reshaping and one set of upper and lower removable retainers are also included in the treatment fee.

Absolutely! We don’t want finances to ever prohibit someone from receiving orthodontic treatment. We have flexible payment options to get you one step closer to a perfect smile.

Dr. Hohl works closely with Ron Hruska and the team of therapists at the Hruska PRI Clinic to better understand how posture and muscle patterns can influence jaw position, bite function, and long-term stability. By considering these factors alongside orthodontic treatment, we’re able to plan care more intentionally—supporting not just straighter teeth, but improved balance, comfort, and function that extend well beyond the smile.
